If you love chocolate from all regions around the world, you can’t miss this. It’s a fun way to get together to eat something you love and share the experience using all your senses. It was super fun to get together and talk about it and we were judging on all our chocolates and found a winner.

There was food there, and I thought that was fantastic in addition to having the chocolate. I highly recommend this for everyone.

The makers-tasting was a highly enjoyable event, from the fine assemblage of guests (many of our fellow-chocolate-makers) to the fun venue (very cool bathroom) to the outrageously delicious and gourmet “refreshments” (was really lunch, thoughtfully meeting all dietary needs) to (finally) the interesting and diverse selection of chocolate bars. I really appreciated trying bars I probably never would have purchased, and discussing their qualities and hearing the widely differing reactions from experienced chocolatiers. Raven had prepared well with good knowledge of each bar and interesting tid-bits of information. We will most certainly join again when we can – perhaps for a tasting of alternatives to sugar – as that is our particular area of interest! Thank you for presenting these great additions to the local chocolate community!
